I actually agree with what is being said here. Many of the shows "back then" had a very memorable quality to them. In my case it wasn't "The Beverly Hillbillies" but "Batman" that was being discussed during recess. But the idea was the same. We talked about the shows that effected our lives.

Agree completely. It's that sense of shared experience that's missing nowadays, and I think we're the poorer for it.
