What's on TV? Wednesday, February 21, 1968

I'm back! Well, sort of, anyway. Although I don't have the time to provide in-depth commentary for this week's issue, I can tell you that it is the same one I wrote about on Saturday. This should auger well for next week, since I now have access to everything I've been missing for the last few weeks. But you didn't come here to read about my personal life - you're looking to find out what's on TV. The listings are from the Twin Cities.

  1. Harry Reasoner was filling-in for Walter Cronkite on the "CBS Evening News" that week because Cronkite was on special assignment in South Vietnam, conducting interviews and gathering material for his now-famous prime-time special on Vietnam that was broadcast a week or so later.

Cronkite had gone to Vietnam right after the Tet Offensive began, after seeing and hearing reports from his correspondents about the major push North Vietnam had made well into the South.
