I noticed that one could watch new episodes (Meaning earlier in the year, of course, since they would be in reruns by this time) of "The King and Odie" on the first season of Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales (CBS), and new episodes of the final season of The Bullwinkle Show (NBC), and then watch the syndicated reruns of each later in the afternoon on the independent channel. Add the airings of Bugs Bunny, Beany and Cecil, The Alvin Show, and Hector Heathcote to that, and I don't think I would have left the house on Saturdays.
ReplyDelete"THE CBS SATURDAY NEWS", scheduled at 12:30 Eastern/11:30 Central, wasn't seen on WCCO. They made more money locally scheduling the syndicated "SUPERCAR" instead.
